EXCLUSIVE: Long duration CAA agent Ryan Abboushi Change of professional speeds, leaving the talent agency for a new position of entertainment president at MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas. Abboushi has been with the CAA for over 16 years, after starting in May 2009.
As a leader in the entertainment division of MGM Resorts, he will supervise a unified programming and operations strategy to rely and extend the position of the company as a world class leader in live entertainment and immersive experiences. He will more specifically take care of the use of MGM resorts sites, reservations, talent management and relationships with partners, while helping to create experiences of entertainment and evolving and brand content that can extend through the many MGM Resorts destinations. His first day will take place on June 16.
“Ryan’s leadership and experience will be decisive in the integration of art, sports and immersive art content, sports and immersifs in MGM Resorts,” said Ari Kastrati, responsible for content, hotel and development. “We are delighted to welcome Ryan to Las Vegas, because he offers unforgettable experiences to our guests.”
During his stay at the CAA, Abboushi packed and sold many films, television and special shows, as well as the careers of many most renowned storytellers in the world. He began his career at William Morris Agency after having obtained his baccalaureate in business administration and management of the University of Southern California.
