The Mother’s Day event held to support mental health during pregnancy
PAGE. It is already raining in some places this morning after several series of heavy rains yesterday, we plan to flood in certain places today and tomorrow. There is therefore a new flooded watch which covers a large part of the center of Alabama. It will be for all the counties here in green. It lasts until 7 p.m. tomorrow evening because the ground is already saturated with the rain. We saw yesterday. Any additional rain today or tomorrow could potentially cause flooding problems. It is therefore something that we will monitor carefully tomorrow evening. Early this morning. We already have a few thunderstorms to talk to you. These derive from south to north. They were generally along and east of the I-65. Early this morning. I wanted to take you from our first live warning radar to show you some of the heavier rain pockets near Huffman, extending to Trussville. Just a really intense downpour. No big deal, but high rain. And you also hear thunder. Same story through an expanse of bad humor towards Leeds, then another really strong rain pocket between Westover and Harpersville. It is a bit rolling up to 80, and it will go to Vincent here in the coming minutes. Again, not severe, but just heavy rains of thunder sometimes. Same story through Boley Cove. This will move to the general management of Fayetteville, directed around 231 here. Very soon. Later in the day, it is possible to see a strong to severe storm. The overall threat is weak but not zero. A marginal risk from Hamilton to Birmingham in Alexander City to the south. The main threats of any storm that could briefly become strong today would be the winds of Rafale, hail and then, of course, that heavy rains so early this morning, mainly east of the i-65, is the place where we have the best blanket of the showers. It will not rain everywhere all day today, but there will sometimes be waves of rain and thunder. We are starting to see our next damp time moving from south to north just at lunchtime, mainly south of the I-20 at that time. But look at how it feels in 4:00. The scattered storms are probably in many places, and it is some of these storms that could briefly become strong. We keep a wet time at 8 p.m., and this will be another evening when we have just offered scattered storms, even until 11 p.m. tomorrow. The global model does not really change much. We are just stuck with this lower level which keeps us unstable. To get you out early tomorrow morning, you have returned to work or at school. Some showers are possible. It is mainly, however, for our northern and northeast communities. Everyone is likely to look at a cloudy sky, some wet roads that remain rain late tonight, but the showers and storms become more likely in the afternoon and evening tomorrow. And it’s another day when we see the risk of a strong storm or two. This includes the center and northern Alabama. Jasper Cullman, Gaddden Anniston Alexander City Clanton all the places that have this weak threat tomorrow for gusts or hail early in the morning. Our communities in the north and northeast of most communities start the day with wet weather. Everyone with the clouds around. We get breaks in the clouds, then we see better coverage of thunderstorms. Fill in the afternoon afternoon and in the evening. And these are some of these storms which, once again, tomorrow could produce heavy rains, gusts, hail. So just a kind of unstable meteorological scheme. But there is a relief in sight when we head for the end of next week. We turn the sun
