The Albemarle Foundation recently donated 50 hands-on science kits to Central Elementary School, providing an exciting new resource for students to explore the wonders of science.
Kimberly Jones and Kodi Bane presented the kits to Rachel Allhands, the school’s maths and science facilitator, alongside four enthusiastic fifth graders. Also present for the occasion was Sonya Russell, the district’s math and science coordinator.
The hands-on kits, designed to engage young learners in hands-on science activities, will be a valuable tool to stimulate curiosity and scientific inquiry among Central Elementary students.
This gift reflects the Albemarle Foundation’s commitment to supporting education and enriching learning experiences for students in the community.
