The Trump administration blocked the funding of the EPA research and development office (CED), the main scientific division of the agency.
An email sent on May 7 and first reported by E & E News said the funding of the research laboratory had been arrested with the exception of health and safety requests. “Laboratory research will end in the coming weeks because we will no longer have the capacity to acquire supplies and documents,” said one of the emails.
