Yahoo wishes to extend the public who comes to his sites to obtain information on food, family and relationships.
The digital content company, controlled by Apollo Global Management, unveiled partnerships on Tuesday with Celebrity Chef Nick DigiovanniParental experts of big little feelings and media personalities Amy Robach And always Holmes. Everyone will contribute the content which will take place on the properties of Yahoo in the coming days.
“We expand our content offers by combining respected personalities who bring authentic voices and content that will resonate with our audience,” explains Brooke Siegel, vice-president of Yahoo News content. The above -mentioned personalities “allow us to expand our scope in the lifestyle, a key area of interest for our readers.”
Digiovanni, author and finalist of the television series “Masterchef”, will offer content linked to his culinary expertise. Deena Margolin and Kristin Gallant, founders of Big Little Sauits, will publish a weekly chronicle which will serve as a companion for practical solutions “after parental challenges. Column, “ask Amy & TJ”, which will be launched in June.
Yahoo unveiled the new partnerships on Tuesday during the “Newfront” presentation of the company to advertisers.
Lifestyle subjects “have the highest click rate of any vertical”, including politics, explains Siegel. “I have a lot of ideas for other voices” which could be introduced in months to come.
The creators have all suggested seeing their alliances with Yahoo as a new way of reaching fans and consumers. “I can’t wait to bring the recipes and content that my subscribers are already enjoying a new audience,” explains Digiovanni. The new Yahoo chronicle will allow Margolin and Gallant to “dig even more deeply in parental subjects that count the most,” say the duo.
Robach and Holmes see a chance to run the conversations they have with people they meet in advice for a bigger crowd. “We were moved and humiliated by the response of people who stretched out or even stopped in the street to share their own love stories. None of us are alone in our difficulties in navigating in the complexities of relationships. And none of us succeeds all the time. We know! ” They say in a press release. “We are grateful to Yahoo for having recognized the opportunity and having given us a chance to speak directly to the readers, to offer our harshly won perspective according to our own triumphs and personal errors.”
Yahoo could consider personalities or experts related to well-being or travel, says Siegel. “I think it’s just the start,” she adds.
