Exhausting 17,000 square feet, this dynamic experience will remain in view of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Developed in collaboration with the La84 Foundation, the Walter Family Foundation and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, the exhibition invites guests to explore science behind their favorite sports while celebrating inclusiveness, health and human potential.

Sports Meet Stem in an immersive and high energy exhibition

Game! Presents a wide range of physical and virtual challenges – from baseball and football to yoga, dance and snowboarding – offering a practical understanding of physics, anatomy, nutrition and well -being. Visitors will be guided by a diversified list of Los Angeles -based mentors and improved technology simulations.

“We are delighted to bring this innovative exhibition to our guests, exploring the intersection between science and sports,” said Jeffrey Rudolph, President and Chief Executive Officer of California Science Center.

Activities include:

  • Synchronization of a baseball swing with land ranging from 30 to 60 MPH.
  • Practice football exercises that teach biomechanics and precision kicks.
  • Swim with an elite athlete para in a virtual swimming pool.
  • Building in breathing control and vision training exercises.
  • Exploration of the impact of long -term health nutrition.
  • Discover careers in the sports industry beyond the athlete.

Inspiring the next generation of athletes and thinkers

“I look forward to children who experience the transformational power of sports and the learning of science behind the games they love,” said Renata Simril, president and chief executive officer of the La84 Foundation.

Game! Strengthening how physical activity and STEM learning go hand in hand. By connecting visitors to science behind sports, the exhibition aims to allow young athletes, students and families to improve their health and their performance through knowledge.

“We are proud that this exhibition initiates young people and families in Los Angeles,” said Nichol Whiteman, CEO of Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation. “He aligns our mission to create access to educational and well-being opportunities.”

Plan your visit

Entrance to the game! is free with the admission of the General Science Center. However, groups of 15 or more must reserve timed inputs and entrances to the scientific center by calling for 213-744-2019.
