In a CDW Education webinar held on December 10, a panel of higher education technology experts gathered to discuss the evolving needs of students and how technology plays a role in their experience. The webinar, titled “Transforming the campus experience: solutions that drive student success in higher education” included representatives from CDW technology partners Cloth, Genetic And Promethean.

Caitlin Witry, senior director of CDW’s Educational Partnership Program, led panelists in a discussion about how technology investments help colleges and universities attract and retain studentswhich ultimately impacts the student experience and helps institutions achieve their goals.

Universities must embrace digital transformation trends to stay competitive

Today’s K-12 students have different expectations of their institutions of higher education than in the past, and it is up to universities to take these demands to heart. According to Nick Gyani, head of North America higher education at Canva, providing tools that enable students to foster creativity and collaboration will be key to meeting these needs.
