Brazilian police said on Sunday that they had thwarted a bombed attack for Lady Gaga Historical concert which attracted more than two million people to Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday.
Civil police from the State of Rio de Janeiro, working in coordination with the Ministry of Justice, said that the intrigue had been orchestrated by a group promoting the speech of hatred and the radicalization of adolescents, including self -control and violent content as a form of social belonging.
According to the Town Hall of Rio, 2.1 million people attended the concert of the American pop icon.
“The suspects recruited participants, including minors, to carry out coordinated attacks using improvised explosives and Molotov cocktails,” police said in a statement.

The Ministry of Justice said that recruiters have identified as members of the Gaga world database, known as “Little Monsters”.
The operation was based on a report of the ministry cyber-operations laboratory following a warning from Rio State Police Intelligence, which discovered digital cells encouraging violent behavior in adolescents using coded language and extremist symbolism.

A man described as the leader of the group was arrested in the southern state of Rio Grande Do Sul for illegal possession of a firearm, while a teenager at Rio de Janeiro was detained for storing juvenile pornography.
The authorities have carried out more than a dozen research and crisis mandates through the States of Rio de Janeiro, Mato Grosso, Rio Grande Do Sul and Sao Paulo.
