Billings, Mont. – Grace Curnow had an immediate impact on Billings West Athletics when she set up on the campus for her first year, leaving an important brand on the football team of Bear Golden. His hard work and his dedication did not go unnoticed, which led to his favorite memory of the secondary.

“I must say that my favorite memory is to win a first year of the first year.

Curnow’s achievements of football include winning defensive honors from all states for three consecutive seasons and being appointed defensive MVP during its junior and senior years. Her impressive performances attracted the attention of Rocky Mountain College, a place she knows and delighted to join.

“I have always been about Rocky,” she said. “My club coaches are Rocky coaches, I like to be trained by them and Rocky is such a good school with their growing football program. They also have major educational programs, so I’m really excited to continue my studies and play football there. My parents were one of my greatest motivations in my whole life and my career in high school, then I am very excited that I can be delighted to be House because they will always be there. “

In addition to football, Curnow has decided to reconnect with basketball, a sport she grew up playing. As one of the two seniors of a young team, she found her rejuvenating experience.

“I felt young, I didn’t feel like a senior. Everyone made the experience so fun there. Obviously, I was recognized as a senior and I am a leader on the field but it was so fun. The team, the atmosphere, I am happy to have been part of it for a last season,” she said.

Curnow also participated in the track during its last year of high school, contributing to second place in Billings West in the 4×100 meter relay.

The Midland round table banquet will be held on May 12 at 7 p.m. at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center.
