Privilege Group, The Global Media Powerhouse Services, makes a major game to transform MumbaiThe entertainment landscape with a planned investment of 30 billion INTR (around $ 400 million) in collaboration with the Maharashtra government.
Mumbai is the capital of the state of western Maharashtra India and which houses the Bollywood film industry in the Hindi language. Development, announced by the founder of Prime Focus Namit Malhotra Alongside the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, will become Fadnavis, aims to establish a new generation entertainment ecosystem that will serve both a creative center for content creators and a destination for entertainment lovers in the world.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the world summit in the audio-visual and entertainment (waves) in Mumbai.
The multi -year project should generate thousands of highly qualified jobs while cementing the position of Mumbai as the cornerstone of the production of world films. The installations offered will include advanced production studios with advanced digital infrastructure, live entertainment places, themed parks, experienced centers, as well as lifestyle equipment, including shopping destinations, hotels and accommodation.
Created in 1997 and listed publicly on the national scholarships and Bombay of India, the Prime discussion group is the parent company of Dneg (Eight Oscars recipient for visual effects), the IA Brahma technology company and the Prime Focus Studios content production company.
“My vision of this evolution, shared by the honorable Minister -in -Chief Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, is to honor the legacy of more than 100 years of our world renowned film industry,” said Malhotra. The founder of Prime Focus stressed that the project would exploit the combined capacities of group companies, including “Oscar -winning creativity of DNEG, Brahma AI technology and financing and production capacity of privilege studios.”
Prime Focus Group is already operating important production facilities in Mumbai, including eight sound scene designed by Hollywood in a 200,000 square feet studio complex, alongside post-production facilities that are home to the Dneg Mumbai studio.
