Monday April 28, the Charles F. Dolan School of Business launched his Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Technological InstituteA new revolutionary initiative at the intersection of technology, creativity and innovation. The speakers of the launch event included the economist and the Nobel Prize winner Myron Scholes, PhD, who joined Via Zoom.
According to a Recent visit of the Governor of Connecticut Ned Lamont At a commercial analysis course to discuss AI applications at the workplace, Fairfield Dolan continues to develop AI initiatives, including the launch of this institute on April 28. As part of the launch event, five students also presented their short films generated by AI, produced as part of their courses.
“The AI and the technological institute were born from the basic Jesuit values of Fairfield – a commitment to serve humanity,” said Jie Tao, PHD, director of the AI and the Technological Institute and Associate Professor of Analysis. “We focus firmly on” AI for the greatest good “, taking advantage of AI research and advanced expertise to allow our local communities and businesses.”
As part of the new institute, annual programming will include accommodation experts such as Dr Scholes at Fairfield Dolan. The AI and the Technological Institute will also aim to offer training surrounding AI and emerging technologies.

As evidenced by the films generated by AI, technology courses and eminent speakers, Fairfield Dolan continues to direct and explore opportunities in IA space. “We are dedicated to the construction of practical tools and available for free and consultation, to position Fairfield Dolan as a leader in the commissioning of technology at the service of the common good,” said Dr. Tao.
