Anthony Albanian claimed the victory as the first Australian Prime Minister to win a second consecutive three -year term in 21 years on Saturday and suggested that his government had increased his majority in the following Parliament by not making fun of the administration of US President Donald Trump.

“The Australians have chosen to face global challenges in the Australian way, taking care of each other while building for the future,” Albanese told the supporters in a victory speech in Sydney.

“We do not need to begging, borrowing or copying apart elsewhere. We are not looking for our inspiration abroad. We find it here in our values and in our employees,” he added.

His center-left labor party had marked the Albanese rival, Peter Dutton, the opposition leader, “Doge-Y Dutton” and accused his conservative liberal party of imitating Trump and his department of effectiveness of the government.

Dutton had previously conceded that his alliance of the conservative parties had been defeated during the elections and that he had lost his own parliamentary seat which he has held for 24 years.

The Labor Party had held a close majority of 78 seats in the House of Representatives of 151 places, the lower room where the parties form governments.

Australian governments are generally elected for at least a second term, but should lose seats in the second elections. But the work is on the right track to increase its majority to its second term.

Although the two say that the country should reach net greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, Dutton maintains that relying on nuclear energy instead of renewable energy sources such as solar energy and wind turbines would provide cheaper electricity.

Labor maintains that Dutton’s administration would reduce services to pay its ambitions to build seven nuclear generators funded by the government. Australia currently has no nuclear energy.

The elections took place in a context of what both sides of politics describe as a cost of living crisis.

Foodbank Australia, the country’s largest food benefits in the country, reported 3.4 million households in the country of 27 million people experienced food insecurity last year. This meant that the Australians jumped meals, ate less or cared about lacking food before being able to buy more.

The Central Bank reduced its reference cash interest rate from a percentage point in February to 4.1% in an indication that the worst financial difficulties had been adopted. The rate is expected to be widely reduced at the next meeting of the bank’s board of directors on May 20, this time to encourage investment in the midst of international economic uncertainty generated by Trump’s pricing policies.

The two campaigns focused on the demographic evolution of Australia. The election is the first in Australia in which baby boomers, born between the end of the Second World War and 1964, are overwhelmed by young voters.

The two campaigns have promised policies to help buyers from the first house to buy a real estate market too expensive for many.
