I am not yet 100 years old. Maybe some of you are, or at least you might feel that, or look like it in the morning, before your coffee.

The Grand Theater, on the other hand, does not feel or resemble your typical 100 -year building. Each characteristic of this extraordinary building shines from the lively lights of the marquee, to the plush cushion seats located under a magnificent chandelier. The new fresh painting, a magnificent polished wooden apron, the luxurious carpet (and more) have kept the great theater looks like the gem it is!

And the merit goes to people who work hard who have donated their time and their financial support for the maintenance of this historic icon. Thank you, we appreciate you!

The Grand Theater is 100 years old this year and we want you to love to celebrate this success with us. Save these dates: August 22, 23 and 24.

On these dates, there will be a delicious program brought to you by the rascals which are called the name “3 of S & B.” The theme of the show will be “100 years of love”. And, in accordance with the theme, there will be solos, duets, choir, piano, brass instruments and dance highlighting every decade of the life of the Grand Theater. The representation of Friday and Saturday will start at 7:30 am, while the performance of 24 will start at 2 p.m. There will be silent auctions on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon with memories of the Grand Theater. And Saturday evening, a VIP cabaret will take place before the main attraction. Box-office seats will be available.

I intend to contribute to the silent auction. You see, I have a fairly unusual hobby. I build knives. I take steel and forges it and shape it and grind it and heat it and soak it and temper it and polish it and manipulate it. It is a simple process, made up of hundreds of small steps, each having the potential to ruin your efforts. But for fear that you did not think it is a kind of shameless taking, in an effort to advertise and sell my knives built by hand, let me explain to you.

My plan is to find unused metal in the Grand Theater and transform it into a unique knife, something to commemorate 100 years! I would donate him, and a personalized sheath, at the silent auction, and I hope that a theater boss will return home!

In fact, the knives have a lot in common with the people I know:

1. They come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors.

2. Some are beautiful; Others are more built for usefulness.

3. Some are difficult to understand.

4. Some can be dull.

5. Others have a net edge

6. If you take care of them, they will treat you well.

7. Neither works well when they lose their composure.

It seems to me that I had moved away from the true intention of this article, which asks you to do the following: Save the dates of August 22, 23 and 24 and help us celebrate the birthday of 100 years of our great well-loved theater! I hope you have my point!
