Annant Yardi, founder and CEO of Yardi Systems, will deliver the opening speech of the Stony Brook University College of Business 2025 on May 21.
The event will celebrate the achievements of graduate students and will offer information from one of the most influential leaders in real estate technology.
Yardi, a trailblazer in the field of real estate management software, has directed Yardi systems for more than four decades, transforming it into global force in real estate, asset and real estate management solutions. His main speech should explore themes such as innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship and restore it – values that have defined his career and resonates deeply with the Business College.
“We are honored to have Yardi as a convocation lecturer,” said Haresh Gurnani, dean of the business college. “His visionary leadership and his entrepreneurial career serve as powerful inspiration for our graduates. The story of Anant underlines the importance of perseverance, strategic thinking and technological innovation – of the features that we strive to instill in our students. ”
Founded in 1984, Yardi Systems developed worldwide with offices in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, including a strong presence in Melville, Long Island. The company is known not only for its advanced software, but also for its unshakable commitment to the responsibility of the company.
In accordance with this commitment, Yardi Systems launched a series of scholarship programs from 2023 to support first generation students. The initiative, which includes Stony Brook University among its 28 partner institutions across North America, reflects the company’s motto: “Take care of our customers, take care of our employees, take care of our communities, stay focused and grow.”
The program is designed to facilitate the financial burden of students who are the first in their families to frequent the university, allowing them to focus on their academic and professional objectives.
“This scholarship reflects our belief in the transformative power of education,” said Yardri. “Support for students who open a new path for their families align with our mission and our values as a business.”
Yardi himself holds a master’s degree in engineering from the University of California in Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in technology from the Delhi Indian Technology Institute. Throughout his career, he has won many honors, notably Realcomm “Digie” Award and enthronement to the temple of multiple press, recognizing its influence and contributions to industry.
In a statement before the summons, Yardi shared his excitement: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to contact the 2025 class at the Stony Brook College of Business. I can’t wait to share ideas for my trip through a period of rapid technological change and business development. ”
