A Silicon Valley company that makes vital technology had a rare chance to show one of the people she helped save on Tuesday.

The company is called intuitive surgery and is based in Sunnyvale. Since this year, it has been around for 30 years.

Tuesday was a very cool day at the company’s headquarters while Dan Larson flew from Seattle to meet business leaders and get a demo of the robotic machines that first detected and then removed his lung cancer tumor.

There are more than 10,000 of the company’s “Da Vinci” robotic surgery worldwide worldwide. But doctors and patients told the NBC Bay region that there was an element of confidence that you should use one.

“And they trust their capacities and the machine. I had no problem. I said” register me! “” The advanced technology? “Said Larson.

Scott Budman has more in the video above.
