Rachel Troutman, vice-president of marketing and university communications, holds the price of the Chamber of Commerce of the Angola Region recognizing the University of Trine for the best commercial contribution to the community.

The Chamber of Commerce of the Angola Region has honored the University of Trine for the best commercial contribution to the community to its 12 yearsth Annual excellence in commercial distinctions, known as reflux, April 23.

Held at the Glendarin Hills Golf Club in Angola, the event recognizes the professionals and organizations that have established the bar in their respective categories, as determined by the votes of the members of the Chamber.

“This organization is a power of progress, innovation and community spirit,” said a statement read during the awards ceremony. “With continuous growth, they prepare not only the next generation of leaders, but also our” map “community. Their dynamic location provides jobs, visitors and energy in the region, supporting local businesses and enriching our economy. »»

“Practical partnerships with schools and local businesses with free public events, the organization is deeply rooted in the life of Steuben County. Their dedication to education, visionary leadership and unshakable support for community initiatives have a real and lasting impact. The organization is really an integral part of our community. ”

Rachel Troutman, vice-president of marketing and university communications, accepted the prize on behalf of the university.

The members of the faculty of the University of Trine Tim Tyler, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the Reiners, and Justin Bock, assistant professor at the Franks School of Education, received appointments in the Educator of the Year category. The former former Allie Curdes, officer of the police service of the city of Angola, was appointed for the first answering machine of the year.

The member companies of the Chamber are appointed by their peers, gaining recognition and prestige for their major contributions to their customers, community and room.
