WhatCom County, Wa (Mybellinghamnow.com)-If you like to live culture, this weekend is the weekend for you in WhatCom County. Cinema, beer tasting, dance and live music are all on this week’s lifestyle’s life file.

The International Women’s Film Festival Cascadia Launches on Thursday April 24 and takes place until Sunday April 27 at the Pickford Film Center in Bellingham. The famous festival of films made by women around the world.

All genres are represented; Narrative films, live, animation and documentaries. The Friday calendar includes a short film program, the Finnish film Ohjus (The Missile) at the Pickford and Viva Verdi by Yvonne Russo! At Mount Baker Theater.

On Saturday, the new prospect Theater will host group discussions entitled “Inspiring change in the real world through the film and” behind the camera: the directors share their trip “. If you prefer to dance that drinking, the city of Bellingham is organizing Bollywood and Bhangra Saturday at the Cordata pavilion. Discover Bhangra and Bollywood dancing from a rhythms of India instructor. Dance, style, language and culture, it’s a chance to do everything.

Bollywood and Bhangra take place from 10:30 am to noon. To register, go to Parks and leisure website of the city of Bellingham.

Our live show this week is an event of all ages at the Blue Room. Friday evening, the Magenta wave of Seattle will bring its Indie sensual vibrations on stage. Radiohead fans, Sunny Day Real Estate and Death Cab For Cutie do not want to miss it.
