An Evo entertainment place arrives at the village of Gateway in Forney, the last milestone for massive development for mixed use east of Dallas.
Evo Entertainment, a subsidiary of Elevate Entertainment Group LLC, based in Austin, confirmed in an e-mail of April 22 at the Dallas Business Journal which he “works in close collaboration with the city of Forney” to bring one of his destinations with a cinema, a bowling and games in the Gateway village. If it is approved by the Forney Municipal Council, Evo Entertainment would become the last major piece of the puzzle for the development of 152 acres which already counts Target, Heb and Home Depot as incoming anchored tenants.
The first phase of the village of Gateway, which should open its doors in the summer of 2026, will include 500,000 square feet of premium retail. A second phase will provide an additional 200,000 square feet for retail. Development will also include 650 multifamilial units.
Besides the project, Texas Health Resources plans to build a 242,000 square feet hospital and a four -story professional building on 50 acres immediately west of development.
