Chicago – Equity Lifestyle Properties, Inc. (NYSE: ELS) announced that the results for the closed quarter on March 31. ELS is a self-administered and self-managed (REIT) real estate investment trust with the head office in Chicago. As of April 21, 2025, we have where we are interested in 455 properties in 35 states and British Columbia including 173,340 sites.
All results per share are reported on an entirely diluted basis, unless otherwise indicated.
Operations update
FFO standardized by ordinary action and OP unit for the closed quarter on March 31, 2025 was $ 0.83, which represents an increase of 6.7% compared to the same period in 2024, occurring in the middle of our previous guidance range from $ 0.80 to $ 0.86. The operating income of basic properties increased by 2.9%, operating expenses of basic properties increased by 1.5% and basic income from real estate operations, excluding goods management, increased by 3.8% for the closed quarter on March 31, 2025, each compared to the same period in 2024.
MH
Basic MH basic rental income for the quarter completed on March 31, 2025 increased by 5.5% compared to the same period in 2024, which reflects growth of 5.7% compared to rate increases and a drop of 0.2% of the occupation, mainly due to resident houses damaged by storms at the end of 2024 in approximately six communities of Florida. We sold 117 new houses during the closed quarter on March 31, 2025. The average sale price for new houses sold during the closed quarter on March 31, 2025 was around $ 81,000.
VR and Marina
RV and Marina base base rental income for the closed quarter on March 31, 2025 complied with previous forecasts. Base base base rental income increased by VR and Marina increased by 4.1% for the closed quarter on March 31, 2025, compared to the same period in 2024.
Operating costs of goods
We finished our renewal of property and victims insurance from April 1, 2025 with a drop in bonuses of around 6.1%, compared to the previous year.
