A team of undergraduate students of the riders ranked third in the competition of the National Small Business Institute Consulting Project of the Year of this year.
Created in 1976, the Small Business Institute (SBI) offers students the possibility of consulting small businesses and non -profit organizations, helping real organizations to study potential opportunities or to seek a problem and recommend a solution. Rider has proven itself of success with SBI, finishing in the top 10 more than 40 times, including six national champions, since the university began to participate in the project of the year project in 1998.
“I am so proud of these students and all their hard work,” said Dr. Ron Cook, professor of entrepreneurial studies and director of the Rider SBI program. “For almost 30 years, companies have trusted our students to provide recommendations on their operations. This speaks volumes about the quality of the Rider commercial program and the ability of our students to put their skills into practice. ”
