  • A Russian court sentenced the 19-year-old activist, Daria Kozyreva, to two years and eight months in prison for having pretended to “discredit” the army through anti-war graffiti and citing Ukrainian poetry of the 19th century. Amnesty International condemned the verdict as a “frightening” attack on peaceful dissent and called for the immediate release of Kozyreva.
