The city center of Traverse City has announced a new outdoor entertainment experience: Live After Five, a free live music series every Friday evening from May 16 to June 6.
Every Friday at 5:00 p.m. Friday, two city center locations welcome local musicians, ranging from rock to independent, global and folk sounds. The series aims to energize the downtown district during the spring shoulders season while supporting the region’s music community.
The artists were selected through a public application process, emphasizing the diversity of genres, energy and performance style. Artists are offset for their time and talent as part of the DTCA engagement to support local creatives.
