The Arcadia Lake Commission has advanced a proposal to start an engineering study on the construction of a waste interception system on the Deep Fork river, near the place where it feeds the lake.

It was adopted during the group’s March meeting and is now working through other city councils and commissions. If it is adopted, the study would cost nearly $ 70,000.
A few minutes from the March meeting, the state of Oklahoma City is interested in associating with Edmond on the project, due to the concerns concerning the increase in daily charges in the waterways.

If the municipal council adopts the feasibility study, MCELVANY said that the study should take almost six months.
