NThe Ashville Ashville Amphitheater obtains a new operator.
Metro Nashville informed Ryman Hospitality Properties (RHP), which he intended to operate Ascende Group (OEG) by Opry Entertainment Group (OEG) for the next decade. The agreement is subject to a successful negotiation between the two parties. Axios first reported the news.

RHP has committed capital to “embellish the project,” says Reed. “Improve it and have it more experience for the consumer.”
RHP was selected on Live Nation and AEG. “We really put our foot before here, so we always thought that we had a shot, but by beating two companies which, quite frankly, we have a high degree of – AEG, which manages all our ticket office in all our places, as well as Live Nation, with whom we have a healthy relationship – we were very happy,” adds Reed.
Ascend has an average of 20 to 30 concerts per year, mainly during the summer season, but Reed says it expects to considerably expand activity on the site.
A ceiling on 35 shows per year has been set up when the amphitheater has opened its doors because it is in a residential area, says Reed, but “the problem for us is that it is one of the great property of real estate in the city of Nashville and how to activate it for the 330 other days a year because it should not be kept in the fall during this period.
