Winnipeg police said they had an arrest during a flight offense last month who put a 25 -year -old woman in the hospital.
Their investigation determined that the incident of March 15, which took place early in the morning at the intersection of rue Osborne and avenue Mulvey, involved a city of Winnipeg Van led by a municipal employee.
The driver went to the police headquarters on Wednesday and is now faced with accusations of driving unpretentious to cause potentially deadly injuries, not to give priority to a pedestrian and not to stop after an accident.

The victim’s family spoke shortly after the incident with allegations according to which the van in question followed it and that the collision was deliberate and potentially an attempt at the kidnapping.
At the time, family members said they had suffered a wide range of injuries, including a broken basin, broken ribs and a broken shoulder.
The police said that there is no evidence in support that the victim was in any way targeted.
