Jefferson Health reaches a multi -year agreement with Cigna

Philadelphia (WPVI) – There is a sigh of relief for some patients Jefferson Health.

The largest health system in the region has concluded a new multi -year agreement with CIGNA.

“We appreciate the patience and support of our community throughout this process to ensure that our patients have uninterrupted access to trust suppliers who know them best,” said Jefferson Health in a statement.

All Jefferson’s health hospitals, doctors’ practices and service providers will remain in a network with Cigna.

The agreement is in force retroactively from March 15.

The details of the agreement were not published.

“Jefferson Health remains determined to provide high-quality care, compatiating and accessible to patients and families that we serve. We are impatient to continue to invest in the health and well-being of our communities throughout this agreement and beyond,” continued a statement.
