“Unlike other well-known platforms of this kind, Kidflix not only allowed users to download sexual abuse materials for children, but also broadcast video files. Users made payments using cryptocurrencies, which were then converted to tokens,” said Europol.
Users can win tokens by downloading equipment, checking titles and descriptions and assigning categories to videos, he added.
Alert is a police organization of the Alberta government with members of Alberta law enforcement organizations, who work together to investigate and combat serious and organized crime.
