A group of scientists and health groups continued the National Institutes of Health on Wednesday, arguing that an “ideological purge” of Research financing is illegal and threatening medical remedies.

Since President Donald Trump took office in January, hundreds of NIH research subsidies were suddenly canceled This mentions the diversity of words, sex and vaccination hesitation, as well as other politically loaded subjects.

Five directors of the NIH Institute and many laboratory heads ousted in an unprecedented upheaval

This has led subsidies to reducing fund studies on HIV prevention, prevention of violence in children, disparities in the health of pregnancy and Alzheimer’s disease, among other things, according to the trial brought by the American District Court of Massachusetts.

The prosecution aims to restore money and end the layoffs, arguing that they violate the usual scientific examination process of the NIH, the specific orders of the Congress to fight against equity and health disparities and federal regulations.

He also maintains that cancellations waste the dollars of taxpayers by putting an end to projects in the midst of the results before the results.

The prosecution was filed by the American Public Health Association, unions representing scientists and certain researchers who have been stripped of subsidies.

The NIH parental agency, the Ministry of Health and Social Services, refused to comment on disputes.
