Since 1964, archery of the Penn State Club has continuously reached the target. According to its website, the club aims to provide a place for occasional and competitive archers.
The club president, Maddie, REPSH, detailed typical works during the club’s training, which are held inside three days a week.
“Normally, our archers come and take their equipment,” said Repsher, a third year of elementary studies and early childhood. “Then they usually shoot all the time.”
In addition to its weekly training sessions, the club’s archery club participates in competitions in the region.
“We compete in one or two competitions per month, mainly in the autumn semester, and it is normally at the Lancaster Archery Club,” said Repsher. “We register in the college category, but anyone of all ages can really come.”
Repsher herself participated in the Eastern College Competition and is currently classified third in the country of her division.
“Basically, the first eight in each category receive a scholarship, and I finished in the first three,” said Repsher.

While competition in the fall, club archery also brings pleasure to practices by changing things from its normal routine.
Certain activities that REPSH has mentioned by the fact that the members draw on pumpkins, apples and balloons instead of the usual targets during training.
Although REPRSH has been practicing archery for several years, she said that she had only been involved with club archery than more recently.
“I have been involved in archery for a very long time, but I did not know that there was a club here until last year,” said Repsher.
Member Emily McLaughlin also said that she had joined the club recently.

“My brother was also in Penn State, and he graduated last May, and he was part of the archery every year here,” said McLaughlin, a first year of medico-legal science. “I was able to follow what he did and meet all the friends he also made.”
Member Dorian Lee said that he had never participated in the archery before and had discovered the club’s archery by another member.
“I met a member of the Archery shooting club in one of the municipalities, and he told me everything about the club,” said Lee, a first year by studying mechanical engineering. “Archery was more a social club for me than a sports club. I have a good time and I always come back every week. ”
