Cedar Falls, Iowa – The UNI softball team opens a home game at Robinson Dressing Sports Complex with a series of three games against the Bradley Braves. Due to the weather, the former three -day series has become a double header on Friday March 28, followed by a third match on Saturday March 29.
The Panthers and the Braves met on 106 previous occasions with Uni holding a record of 66-40 in the series of all time. The last time these teams met Bradley won two victories in the three -game series. The Braves won scores of 6-0 and 3-2 in matches one and two before the Panthers won a victory in the third match, 5-4.
The panthers come on Tuesday an eight -round victory over Illinois. The 7-6 victory saw the panthers late 0-2 before taking the lead at the top of the fourth round. Illinois equaled the match at the bottom of the seventh round to force the extras before the Cats take the lead on a single RBI of Ava Smithson. UNI’s victory over RV Omaha in Doc Halverson Classic 2025 Doc match was the 500th victory for Jacobs. He became the eighth head coach in the history of the MVC and the second in the history of the UNI to overshadow the mark of 500 victories.

Kylee Sanders is sixth in the country with a MVCLEADING 2.76 assists per game. The senior also leads the league on average to the stick (0.450) and as a basic percentage (0.546) and third of the assists (69) and stolen bases (9).
Skylar Bedesh Menoute the league on the base path with a stolen base percentage of 0.867, 13 total stolen bases and 0.50 stolen bases per game. It is fourth in the valley with 0.65 goals on balls per match.
Anna Wischnowski was one of the best launchers in the League this season and is third in the MVC in complete matches (8), whitenments (2) and victories (9).
Addison MCELRATH is second in the MVC with 0.31 circuit per game and is third with eight circuit stalls in total.
UNE is looking for his sixth consecutive season (excluding the COVVI-19 2020 season) at 0.500 or better at conference as well as in the first three of the League.
