Ewing, NJ – Matthew Salomon TCNJ male basketball was appointed to the university team of all university districts, announced Tuesday afternoon by the organization.
The male and female male and female university basketball teams of 2024-25, selected by College Sports Communicors, recognize the best-athletes in the country for their performance combined in the field and in class. The CSC Academic All -America® program recognizes the winners separately in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
All-District® academic winners have been taken into account for the progress of the Academic® Academic® Bulletin of the SCC. Students selected as an academic finalist from CSC All-America® are appointed with an asterisk and will go to the national ballot to be elected by CSC members. The academic winners of the first, the second and the third All-America® team will be announced on April 15 (men) and April 16 (women).
A major in marketing, Salomon is an academic winner of all districts.
Solomon experienced another formidable campaign, on average just shy by a double-double (11.6 ppg, 9.8 RPG) and receiving an honorable all-njac mention while controlling painting for a Lions team that made a return trip to the NCAA tournament.
He directed the njac in rebound and double double (11), ranking in the top-30 at the national level in total of rebounds (274, 16th), Double-doubles (27th), and rebounds per game (29th). Solomon led the lions as a percentage of goals on the field at 51.6%, also draining a summit of 19 3 points.
Solomon has set up the greatest number of his career in the NCAA tournament against Pitt-Bradford, marking 21 points and carrying a program of 22 rebounds. He will enter his fifth senior season on the list of all time in career rebounds (705).
