Liberal party leader Mark Carney will run in the constituency in Ottawa de Nepean in the Federal election.
THE Liberal party made this announcement in an article on social networks on Saturday evening.
“We are delighted to announce that our chef, Mark Carney, will be our candidate for Nepean in the next elections. Together, we will build an even stronger Canada,” said the post.
The next federal elections in Canada will take place on April 28.
Carney asked Governor General Mary Simon on Sunday to dissolve the Parliament, officially kicking up the electoral campaign.
Carney lives in the new district of Edinburgh in Ottawa, which is in the conduct in Ottawa-Vanier.
On Sunday, when he asked by a journalist why he decided to introduce himself to Nepean, Carney said he had been living in Ottawa for almost 20 years and that the region has known well.

Nepean’s headquarters is currently held by Liberal MP Chandra Ayra.
Arya revoked his appointment by the Liberal Party earlier this week, without explanation. He was also excluded to run In the liberal leadership race in January.
Carney will be confronted with the candidate of the Conservative Party, Barbara Bal, who was a reserve member of the Royal Canadian Artillery, then Professional Public Security.
The New Democratic Party had not appointed a candidate for Nepean on March 21.
