New Orleans – Entergy is proud to announce the launch of its Power Your Future scholarship program, designed to support current undergraduate students who are pursuing eligible technological majors who plan to continue their studies in designated colleges or universities or universities or minorities in the Entergy service area. Selected beneficiaries will receive a scholarship of $ 5,000, with up to 20 scholarships available from Entergy shareholders’ funds.
Administered by Bourship America®, the largest manager in the country of scholarships and education support programs, the power of your future scholarship is part of the wider initiative of Entergy, The power of prosperity. This initiative is designed to provide students and their families free access to financial resources that promote the success of HBCU students and promoted generational wealth.
As part of this commitment, Entergy has prompted 20 million dollars over 10 years to raise and empower HBCU and their students in its service area in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. These funds will support improved education programs, career preparation and labor development at HBCUS.

Interested students must submit their requests by the deadline of April 9. The application process includes the submission of the required equipment as specified by Bourship America.
