Bangor, Maine (Wabi) – The 10th Maine Annual Science Festival continued on Thursday with a “Science on Tap” event in Nocturnem in Bangor.

Brian Harris, the founder and CEO of Medrhythems, explained how medryhems use music as a tool for brain recovery.

Harris has worked to help people recover from stroke and other conditions improve their walking with the power of music.

The Thursday forum and festival highlight the theme “Science is everywhere”, hoping that children and adults are inspired by everything related to science.

“You cannot find a more energetic group and you may notice that there are people here who are clearly in the sciences and in a specific subject, but I know that there are people in the room who have never thought of neuroscience, and that is the point. We bring people to hear things that the Executive Director would not normally think and they would have the opportunity to explore it,” said Kate Dickers Discovery.
