Comté Crisp, Ga. (Walb) – A new technological campus could arrive in the county of East Crisp.

The county of CRISP filed documents with the Department of Community Affairs of Georgia (DCA) on March 6 requesting their approval for the project, according to the DCA.

The project – called Project Splice – would be located east of Cordele and west of Old Nesbitt Road. The DCA confirmed that the estimated value of the project is $ 6 billion.

According to the documents deposited, the campus consists of seven buildings, each of 300,000 square feet, totaling 2.1 million square feet. It’s about 36 football fields.

The documents have plans so that this project is completed in three phases.

Estimated completion schedule, by phase:

  • Phase I: in 2029
  • Phase II: in 2031
  • Phase III: in 2033

The project Splice developer is Red Wolf DCD Properties LLC, according to DCA documents. Red Wolf is based in New Jersey.
