Tesla was withdrawn from the next Vancouver International Auto Show, the executive director confirmed on Tuesday.
Eric Nicholl said in a statement that the automaker had had multiple opportunities to withdraw voluntarily.
“The main concern of Vancouver Auto Show is the safety of participants, exhibitors and staff,” said Nicholl.
“This decision will guarantee that all participants can focus solely on the enjoyment of the many positive elements of the event.”
The show takes place at Vancouver’s Convention Center West from March 19 to 23 and attracts thousands of car enthusiasts.

Last week, in a decision to give preference to Canadian property and exclude goods produced by the United States, the government of British Columbia announced that Tesla products were no longer eligible For Electric vehicle delivery program For unifamilial houses.
The program provides discounts to help the province’s houses and workplaces to prepare electric vehicles.
Wednesday, Tesla products (electric vehicle chargers, energy storage batteries and inverters) were not eligible for Cleanbc and BC Hydro discounts.
