Alanna Strauss, Piper Heitzler and Campbell Torchin joined CAA in the media and entertainment partnership department. Strategic expansion reflects the group’s continuous growth under the direction of the director of veteran Libby Bush marketing.
Strauss, Heitzler and Torchin provide a rich experience and expertise to the CAA, strengthening the agency’s commitment to provide innovative strategic solutions to its customers in a constantly evolving media landscape.
The Department of CAA Media and Entertainment Partnerships creates powerful content partnerships between brands, media companies, world -class talents and IP. The department focuses on the supply of funding, integration and promotional marketing possibilities in support of the film, television and social content.
Strauss joins CAA as media and entertainment manager of content and marketing solutions, where she brings together today’s brands and storytellers to develop original content and marketing partnerships. Before CAA, she built and launched the entertainment department of the Martin agency and directed the agency’s cultural impact laboratory. It was also pleased from Creative & Content at Fender, supervising the brand strategy and digital platforms. Before that, she built and managed the creative team for global brand partnerships at Netflix.
Torchin, a brand content and marketing framework, will direct the development of brand content and marketing solutions focused on entertainment. Before joining CAA, she spent three and a half years in Westbrook Media, the studio founded by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, supervising brand content initiatives covering brand campaigns, talent -focused digital content, experiential activations, social narration, entertainment marketing and partnerships through cinema and television. Torchin has also worked with world -class brands and leading agencies, notably United Airlines, Ulta Beauty, PXG, Insta360, Mediahub, The Content Collective and Plus.
Heitzler joins as a sales director bringing together content, media and live entertainment opportunities with world renowned brands. Previously, Merlin Entertainments’ chief of staff Entertainments, the second largest entertainment company based on location in the world behind Disney, was responsible for the acceleration of business transformation and catalysis of new high-impact growth initiatives. Before Merlin, it managed the commercial development, marketing, public relations and engineering services for the World Society for Advertising Technologies, Amobee, where it worked with the best brands, agencies and broadcasters in North America, Europe and Southeast Asia.
