In the show, some employees of a company called Lumon Industries undergo a surgical procedure that changes their brain. Their memories are divided between work experiences – where they are known as “innie” – and their personal life – where they are known as their “outings”.
The scientific consultant of the program, Dr Vijay Agarwal Said that the concept is “resounding” possible – and that the closer research than we think.
