Mike Campbell is ready to shed light on his complicated friendship with the end Tom.
As a founding member of Tom Petty and Heartbreakers, Campbell had a first row seat at the singer’s career when he helped the rock group to cement their place in the history of music with successes such as “American Girl” and “Learn to fly”. But he also witnessed the darkest periods of Petty’s life and felt too helpless to intervene.
