A 41 -year -old missing woman was found alive on Tuesday after surviving for six days in her crushed car in Newton County, Indiana.

Brieonna Cassell He was missing six days ago after leaving his mother’s home to visit a friend, according to a press release from the Newton County Sheriff.

Cassell had been trapped in her car since March 6, when she fell asleep behind the wheel and left the road in a ditch under a bridge, according to her father, Delmar Caldwell.

Cassell’s mobile phone died and under the passenger seat, according to Caldwell. He also said that his daughter could hear cars pass and she shouted for help, but no one could see or hear her.

“She was stuck in the car and could not go out. But she was able to reach the water of the car, “said Caldwell. “The only way she was able to survive was to use her hooded sweatshirt and plunge him into the water in a ditch and suck water, or bring water into her mouth in the ditch.”

After Cassell was taken to the hospital, his mother provided an update to the Sheriff’s Bureau in Newton.
