The passing of small businesses is intended to empower local businesses belonging to various properties
Washington, DC (March 13, 2025) – DC United and Intensalentalist announced the Unitéd for Local Business initiative following the success of the Small Business Pass program in 2023 and 2024. United for Local Business promotes local establishments and encourages fans to support and discover the various DMV companies fueling our community. United for local businesses will start on Friday March 14 for National Pi (E) day in Boogy & Peel in Dupont Circle.
Throughout the year, DC United will highlight a different business by encouraging fans to visit this special day with the DC United Foundation opening a prepaid tab to cover the stars and features of the respective restaurants.
In 2025, fans will be able to access promotional offers in 11 various local companies (belonging to blacks, belonging to Latina, belonging to Asian, DMV, notably Fishscale (Shaw, DC), Dog Tag Bakery (Georgetown, DC), Good Company Deauts and Cafe (Arlington, VA. Xochi (Downtown, DC), and even more.

Fans can access the promotional offers for United Business for Local Companies www.unitetforlocalbusiness.com And can exchange discounts by presenting a unique QR code to analyze in participating companies. Local companies are reimbursed for the discounts provided so that participation has no impact on their results.

The DC United Foundation was initially associated with intentionalist players, Major League Soccer and black players for change in 2023 to highlight small businesses during the MLS All-Star Week in Washington, DC after a successful programming throughout 2024, DC United is proud to continue its partnership with intentionalist in 2025.
