The Feather River Community College Foundation announces that it should organize an evening of “Pure Entertainment” in support of the Feather River College and its students. Presented on March 21 and 22 at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds, the Lip Synchronization Show by Quincy Star Follies promises a night of pleasure, laughter and incredible performance.

Star Follies is a show where local stars from all walks of life go up on stage and provide their best performances of lip synchronization to a variety of emblematic songs, say the organizers. The event will set out a diversified range of participants – aged 6 to 86 – including community members, students and teachers and staff of Feather River College, Plumas Unified School District, Charter School, Plumas Christian School and Indian Valley Academy.

Participants will have famous successes of various genres, from rock to rock, from country to hip-hop, with dazzling costumes, an energetic choreography and a lot of humor, say the organizers.

Star Follies participants represent their community, dancing and synchronizing on the lips in support of the Feather River Community College Foundation.

All profits from the event benefit the Feather River Community College Foundation, an organization dedicated to the support of the college and its students. The Foundation helps to provide scholarships, subsidies and resources that improve educational experience to students from Feather River College. The funds collected will directly serve to support the mission of the college to offer high quality education and to ensure that all students have the tools they need to succeed, say the organizers: “By assisting and participating in the event, participants will not only benefit from an entertaining show, but will also help enrich the life of current and future students from Feather College.”

“The star of Quincy Follies is also a wonderful opportunity for the local community to meet,” said Lisa Kelly, president of fundraising of the FRC Foundation. “It is a celebration of local talent, creativity and the mind to give. The event will present the sense of unique humor and camaraderie that make Quincy a special place. »»

Tickets are available at Quincy Provisions or http://www.frc.edu/foundation. More information is available from Kelly at lkelly@frc.edu.
