The Japanese Kearney Association (JAK) organized its 24th annual Japanese festival on Saturday in the Ponderosa room in Nebraskan Student Union Ponderosa on the campus.
The event included food, student performance, interactive exhibitions, fun quizs and other engaging activities.
This year’s festival celebrated the Heisei era (1989-2019), a pivotal period of contemporary history in Japan which symbolizes continuous peace and prosperity.
