BC Premier David Eby Said that all American alcohol products will be withdrawn from British Columbia alcohol stores.
Previously, it was only alcohol of the red states, but Eby said on Monday that will change now.
“It was about a week ago, we announced the taking of alcohol products and other products manufactured in the republican states of the shelf here at the alcohol store and in all our public alcohol stores in the province,” said Eby.
“Since then, we have seen a threat of additional prices on the dairy industry. An investigation into our wood wood industry by the president, in order to add even more prices and disturbing articles in the New York Times and other places on the threatening president to redraw our borders and pursue Canadian water. »»
Eby added that if US President Donald Trump is so interested in Canadian water, British Columbia will help him “keep his aqueous beer”.
“We do this for several reasons. One is to respond to the growing threats we see from the United States. The other is to recognize the feeling that many British Colombians have now. When we look at the American products, we don’t even want to see them on the shelf. »»

EBY said Thursday that British Columbia will adopt legislation allowing it to tax American trucks passing the province in Alaska.
The measure will be included in a legislative whole which, according to Eby, will also include changes to eliminate interprorcal trade barriers and give the government “flexibility” to respond to Trump’s decrees.

Eby made the announcement when the news announced that Trump was, Again, a 25% price break on certain Canadian products for another month.
Eby said it wouldn’t change the province’s response.
“The prices are on, the prices are disabled, the threats, the canceled orders, set up – it is a deliberate tactic to weaken our determination,” said Eby.
“We are not going to accept these continuous threats, this continuous uncertainty. We will defend Canadians. It is unacceptable.
