Madison (WKOW) – The demonstrators met at the State Capitol on Friday for the “stand up for science” walking.
The event was described as a peaceful, friendly and non -partisan event.
People have called on political decision -makers to end political interference in science and to guarantee and extend scientific funding.
The organizers say that it is important to continue to finance clinical trials so that diseases like cancer can be cured.
Other rallies organized by the same group have been organized in communities across the country.
