Houston, Texas (Ktrk) – A 71 -year -old man died after being stabbed in a psychic company in the Montrose region overnight, following a domestic dispute, Houston police department said.
The stab wounds took place just after 2 a.m. on Saturday in the 1600 block on rue W. Alabama near Mandell Road.
HPD said the police arrived in the area in response to a cup and found that the man was bleeding from a knife injury near his shoulder area. He was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
The daughter of the man, who owned the company, was at home at the time and said that she had heard screaming before finding her father and calling the police.
The 53 -year -old woman whom the police thought they were the suspect, fled the premises in a complex of nearby apartments and was found on foot by police officers. After talking to witnesses, the police learned that the woman had frequently visited the home and that she and the victim were in a relationship.
The police believed what had led to the stabs when the two argued on the strong noises that the woman made in the kitchen.
The woman said that she went to the room but returned to the kitchen and had seen blood on her hand, and did not remember how she had arrived.
HPD confirmed that the woman had been taken to the city center for interrogation.
