McDonald’s deploys AI technology to combat employees “ stress ”

The Big Mac house updates 43,000 restaurants with AI technology to target the “stress” that employees deal with, said McDonald’s information director Brian Rice THE Wall Street Journal Wednesday March 5.

“Our restaurants, frankly, can be very stressful. We have customers at the counter, we have customers of our training, letters coming for delivery, delivery by the sidewalk. It’s a lot to manage for our crew, ”said Rice.

Rice explained that the configuration of technology, called Edge Computing, is supposed to quickly send “Cloud” data so that franchisees can see how their restaurants work.
