Rimas entertaitment, the label behind the world superstar Bad Bunny, acquired an important participation in Dale Play Records, one of the main forces of Spanish music.
Rimas published a press release Thursday which affirmed a partnership with Dale Play Records. The agreement was concluded in collaboration with Sony Music and its distribution division, The Orchard.
According to the press release, the acquisition “solidifies a strategic partnership that will expand the world scope (RIMAS ENTERTAINMENT) and the commitment to the development of artists”, which follows “years of collaboration” between the two labels.
The acquisition effort was led by CEO Noah Assad, who formed the label based in Porto Rican in 2014 in order to strengthen the acts of Reggaeton and Trap. In addition to its most popular hitmaker, Bad Bunny, the independent label also represents renowned artists, notably Arcángel, Cris MJ, Eladio Carrión, Rainao and Sech.
Dale Play Records was trained in 2018 by the Argentinian music magnate Federico Lauría. The Argentina -based company is best known for cultivating some of the best acts in the country, including the winner producer of a Latin Grammy Bizarrap, Nicki Nicole and Duki.

With existing offices in the United States, Porto Rico, Mexico and Spain, Rimas Entertainment will add Dale Play Records operations in Argentina, as well as its offices in Mexico, Spain and Uruguay.
