University of Manhattan to launch a new adult in health sciences in 2025 fall semester

Image of Dean Marcy KellyThe University of Manhattan has announced that a new adult in health sciences would take effect from the fall 2025 semester. Department of Kinesiology conduit by Dr Shawn Ladda.

The new major will have a general orientation, introducing students to scientific foundations, including public health, and can easily serve as a springboard for third cycle work in areas such as nursing, associated doctors (PA), podiatrics and chiropractic studies.

Said Marcy KellyPh.D., dean of Kakos School of Arts and Sciences and professor of biology at the University of Manhattan, “We are very delighted with this new study program, in particular the unique characteristic of having a public health minor integrated into the major in health sciences. Our students will be exceptionally well placed to pursue higher education in a variety of disciplines related to health. »»
