In this episode, we dive into the latest developments in Alaska volcanoes, in particular Mount Spurr which recently gave a 50/50 chance. It is the closest volcano of anchorage and currently remains in a yellow code opinion. Matt Haney, scientist in charge of the Alaska volcano observatory, joined the host Dave Waldron to immerse himself in science behind volcanoes.

Later in the program, we will enter a part of the history of Alaska with the volcanoes and the science that will observe and understand them.
